Hello! We are the Keel Drive Allotment Tenants, starting up a blog for the community to share useful information and news.
Keel Drive Allotments is a council managed allotment site in Concorde Way, Slough with a total of 89 plots.
The site comprises of a single field of 89 plots, a trading hut (marked in blue) and a small car park at the front and back end (marked in yellow). There is a single entrance with a common gate at the east side.
Tenants are presently keen to develop an association and respective committee to manage the site.
New members of any gardening experience are welcome although preference is given to people living locally. Currently there is a waiting list but anyone with an interest in joining should initially contact Slough Borough Council
This website also contains a blog which can be read by tenants. You can comment on other people’s blogs by clicking on the title of their entry. We very much want to hear your views and news about the site and how it is being managed.
There is also a photo album page where you can display any photos you want to share with us.
We are always looking for contributions in the form of stories, pictures or videos.
